Going through milestone feedback
Posted by aatorres | Filed under Uncategorized
After presenting our personas and receiving good feedback for portraying realistc characters, we met again to brainstorm. This time we wanted to clarify which part of the Gallery system we will focus on. During a series of high-energy discussions, we decided we will collate more data from the email interviews that we received after we generated our personas. While we knew that more data will definitely help us, for the time being, we settled on some of the key aspects of the system that we definitely wanted to address: We wanted to make it easier for the served persona, we also wanted to make it easier for the two primary users. We also discussed: what if we addressed the needs of the secondary persona and indirectly, in the process, naturally simplified for the served persona. We knew that all the users are interlinked and addressing for one might automatically help some other type of user. Nevertheless, this discussion only led us to deciding that it would be best to flesh out our individual visions of the different interfaces will look like. We all agreed that we will need to come up with our individual versions of paper-prototype sketches and then brainstorm again as a group to pick the best parts of our individual creations.
At the end of the meeting, however, we just decided to spend individual time with the current system and think of as much ideas for improvement as possible. We decided that we will meet again next week, and we will take-off from there!
