Jeff Honeyman

MSI HCI 2009, BA English 2005

Jeff returned from the cornfields of Grinnell Iowa with a degree in English.  His studies included biological anthropology, 19th century continental philosophy and postwar American literature.  Jeff’s interest range from the development of web design and programming skills to a fascination with bad science fiction and wartime animated cartoons.  As a compulsive doodler and fan of the visual arts, a photographically oriented project like Gallery seems to be a great fit. Related experience includes work in graphic design, technical writing and quality control for web interfaces, gained in both professional and academic settings.  He is looking forward to working with the PhotoDev team.

Anran Ye

MSI HCI & LIS 2009,  B.Admin. 2004

Anran gained her usability evaluation experience from a MBooks internship and project with the UM Hospital, which ended up with a new version of a clinical research website.  Accessibility research expanded her perspective to infrastructure of interfaces. In addition to her undergraduate major, Anran was trained as an art planner in the university press where she participated in a variety of design ranging from company culture brochure to book covers.  With traveling and photography as her hobbies, the Gallery project is a perfect match. The Gallery project promises a chance to provide users with an improved system for web based photo collection.
