CareMap

The goal of the project is to help people live a healthier life by connecting consumers and providers of healthcare resources in a personalized way. Portable Personal Health Records (PHR) provides a good opportunity to access consumers’ healthcare records from which the system can predict their healthcare needs. We propose a recommender system of healthcare resources that utilizes the PHR data, locations of the consumers and resources, and community-submitted information to display services, products, and events relevant to the consumer’s context on an interactive map.

Methods to be used: Literature review, lo- and hi-fi prototyping, and usability testing.
